[vimeo width=”960″ height=”540″]http://vimeo.com/68985984[/vimeo]

Working inside the Fabulous Forum in Inglewood, CA, I was witness to an extraordinary event: the lifting up of an 10.5 ton steel ring, (29.5′ across) approximately 80′. Shot with a 5D MRKII, (fitted with a 24mm tilt-shift lens) and a T2i Rebel, (fitted with a 10-20mm lens). A Syrp Genie, (syrp.co.nz/) was used for the stationary pans. Color grading, cropping, lens corrections and clean up completed in Lightroom and Adobe Premiere was used for compositing the assets.
